CTA, stop the trains at the same place!

I can't figure out why CTA doesn't mark where the doors will open on the platforms! They already have signs to tell the drivers where to place the cars (you ever see those signs with 2,4,6,8?). In theory, the drivers should be able to stop the trains based on those signs. With that, they could mark the ground where passengers can expect the doors to open. People could form orderly lines, and let people off. And, people do not have to run around like chickens, trying to be first to the door.

New Picture Page ... Again

I re-reorganized the photo page. I wish I had gone to bed instead, but I couldn't help myself.

Jin Mao Tower : Shang Hai (Video)

A video from the Jin Mao Tower...before the massive earth-shattering thunderstorm.

In Shang Hai...

I arrived in Shang Hai yesterday afternoon, a bit tired, but mostly relieved. So far, everything has gone quite well; no bags are missing, all my paperwork made sense, and I got to eat some food (I've been told that you do not call Chinese Food chinese food in china, for obvious reasons).

Now, later will be the first day in the office, which I am quite excited about. I will take it easy today, making sure to get all my little paperwork details taken care of.
